Fees and money flow
Every number here is public, and the same for every game.
Opening auction
| Part | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 95% of the auction money | Backs the game’s market pool, so the market has real money behind it from the first minute |
| 5% | Auction fee to JustBet |
If the auction misses its minimum ($100 or the unit floor × the units on offer, whichever is higher), 100% is refunded and no fee is taken.
Trading units: 1% per trade
| Share of the 1% | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 50% | Burned (WINR destroyed) |
| 20% | Unit holders of that game |
| 20% | The market float |
| 10% | The game’s creator |
On JustBet Originals there is no creator share: that 10% is burned too.
Example: a 10,000 WINR trade pays a 100 WINR fee. 50 is burned, 20 goes to holders, 20 to the float and 10 to the creator.
Shares
- WINR spent buying Bought shares is burned.
- An upgrade costs half the auction minimum per unit, per share. That WINR is burned. It has a fee because an upgrade takes a unit that would otherwise be sold in the opening auction.
- Choosing Keep or Convert costs nothing.
The house’s part
- The house pays 5% of each graduated game’s revenue to that game’s units, every week.
- House accounts can’t bid in any auction, and can’t sell units during the launch period.
