Token LaunchpadHow a Launch Works

Token Launchpad

Every token launched on winr.games  is also a slot machine on just.bet .

One transaction mints the token, opens a locked liquidity pool, and starts building the game. The token trades on an ordinary Uniswap V3 pool. The game settles against the WINR bankroll. The two are bound to each other for good.

This section describes the mechanism in enough detail to verify it on chain.

One Transaction

A launch is a single call to the Gateway contract on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), paid with a launch fee of 0.01 ETH plus gas.

In that transaction:

  1. The token is minted. Fixed supply, 100,000,000,000 tokens. There is no mint function after this, and no owner.
  2. A Uniswap V3 pool is created for the token against WETH at the 1% fee tier.
  3. 100% of the supply is placed in that pool as a single-sided position.
  4. The position NFT is handed to the locker, which holds it and only ever collects its fees.
  5. The launch is recorded on chain with the launcher’s address and the token’s metadata.

The launcher receives no tokens at launch unless they add a dev buy, which is an ordinary swap against the pool inside the same transaction.

No tokens are held back. No allocation exists outside the pool. The launcher, the platform and the protocol all buy at the same market as everyone else.

The Pool Fee

Every swap on the pool pays the standard 1% Uniswap V3 fee. The locker collects it and splits it three ways:

Share of the 1% feeRecipientWhat it is
30%The launcherCreator rewards, paid in WETH and the token, claimable from the locker
50%The platformPlatform revenue
20%The token’s buyback fundHeld in the BuybackVault, spendable only on buying and burning that token

In terms of trading volume: 0.3% to the launcher, 0.5% to the platform, 0.2% to the buyback fund.

The split is a parameter of the locker and applies to every token launched through it. See Graduation & Buybacks for what the buyback fund does, and Contracts to read the values.

The Route Fee

Trading through winr.games before a token graduates pays a further 0.75% of the ETH side of the swap. This is taken in the trader’s own transaction by the swap route, not by the pool.

Two things follow from that:

  • A swap sent directly to the pool, or through any other interface, does not pay it. The pool’s 1% is the only fee that lives on chain.
  • After graduation the route fee is 0%, and winr.games routes the swap at the pool’s 1% alone.

Someone comparing a fill on winr.games against the pool price will see this difference before graduation. It is stated here so that the comparison has an explanation.

The Game

The slot machine is generated from the token’s name, ticker, description and logo. It is playable in the just.bet studio a few minutes after launch, as a draft.

The launcher claims the draft on just.bet, which binds the game to their account and opens it in the studio, where art, sound, animation and maths can be changed before it is published into the casino. Once published, the game routes bets to the WINR bankroll like any other game on the protocol, and its creator earns a share of gross loss on it. See Revenue Flow.

A token whose game has not been claimed and published is still a real token with a real pool. It is tradeable, but it is not yet a game.

What the Launcher Controls

  • The token’s name and ticker are fixed at launch. The image and metadata strings stored on the token can be updated by the token’s admin, which is the launcher.
  • The game: art, sound, animation and maths, through the studio.
  • Their 30% share of pool fees, claimable at any time.

What Nobody Controls

  • The supply. It is minted in the token’s constructor and there is no mint function after it. The token carries a cross-chain bridge hook that only the Superchain bridge predeploy may call, and that address has no code on Robinhood Chain.
  • The pool position. The locker holds the position NFT and has no function that moves it. Its owner can change where the platform share of fees is sent and sweep stray balances; it cannot withdraw liquidity.
  • The buyback fund. Ring-fenced in a contract with no owner and no withdrawal. See Graduation & Buybacks.
